The interior of the Newcastle Tap is a fusion of contemporary design and a cosy pub ambience. Central to the design is the bar, making it a focal point and an integral part of the design as it’s in the main eye line when you enter the venue. We designed an intriguing concrete feature for its facade and allowed the barrels and taps to be visible.
The use of glass screens allows part of the building's carcass to be revealed, enhancing the industrial atmosphere. Wooden surfaces echo the glow of neon signs and ambient lighting, while herringbone flooring and plush leather seating infuse warmth into the surroundings.
Another unique and striking element is the deconstructed barrel arrangement, woven into an unconventional pattern, serving as both a bold statement and a nod to the venue's concept.
