Edinburgh's own speakeasy style cocktail bar, 'Jackson The Tailor' exudes a captivating and chic atmosphere. Nestled below ground, this space once housed Jacksons the Tailor, renowned for their fashionable suits from the 1930s to the 1960s and this historical background inspired the concept of the venue. Drawing from the elegance of the 1930s, the interior embraces an art-deco style while seamlessly weaving in elements reminiscent of the previous identity.
Central to the design are two prominent gold columns, positioned as focal points within the moody interior;Art Deco in style, these add a striking allure to the space. As a meaningful nod to Jackson's heritage, silk linings taken from suits were embedded into the touch points of the design.
Further enhancing the intimate and unique atmosphere are the careful choices of red furnishings and wood tones. These contribute to the space's distinct character by harmoniously combining elements to create an ambiance that resonates with the venue's rich history whilst exuding a contemporary and stylish allure.
