Located opposite Newcastle’s Central Station, Central Oven and Shaker offers Traditional Pasta, Neapolitan Pizzas and a strong cocktail menu. We knew the direction of the design needed to infuse the space with an energetic and vibrant interior. Our approach involved a dynamic interplay of elements such as neon lights, wooden slat walls, and exposed ceilings. We created an open-plan layout that embodies the brand's essence and intended ambience.
Located at the centre of the site, we placed the bar at the heart of the design, making it a focal point needed to achieve eye-catching and captivating features. We used curved walnut wooden slats, and brass details to create a design that would be timeless.
The introduction of an open kitchen serves a dual purpose: it maintains the seamless flow of the site while elevating the lively atmosphere, inviting guests to witness the sight of authentic Italian pizza making thus adding to the overall experience.
