Previously occupied by Yorkshire pawnbroker Herbert Brown & Son, the pub underwent a sensitive renovation, marrying tradition with modernity, resulting in distinct atmospheres across each floor.
The ground floor embodies the essence of a classic city centre pub with a twist, characterised by rich mahogany panels, comfortable leather sofas, and an inviting, snug area. Moving up to the first floor, guests are greeted by a kitchen diner featuring expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the bustling market.
On the top floor, booths line the windows, granting customers an opportunity to admire breathtaking views. Here, they can also observe the inner workings of the beer cellar, adding an intriguing element to their experience.
